Asbestos Awareness Training (International)

This Asbestos Awareness training course is for anyone who works with, or might potentially come into contact with asbestos at work. It looks at what asbestos is, what an Asbestos Management Plan is; it considers some of the major diseases associated with working with asbestos and the effects they have on the human body; and it covers what you should do if you are ever accidentally exposed. The course is IOSH Approved and has been audited by the Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP).

Learning Outcomes

• Review what the law says about asbestos
• Identify the 6 types of asbestos and where they’re found
• Underline what you should do if you disturb small and/or large amounts or asbestos
• Recall the steps to take to reduce and remove the risks of asbestos at work
