Which ISO auditor course should you choose?
Foundation Courses are designed for those with no prior auditing or standards experience, and give an introduction to management system standards, an understanding of the management systems approach, and the requirements of the standard. These courses are delivered as 8 hours Online self-paced learning. We can also deliver in classroom on-site for large corporate groups. These courses satisfy the prior knowledge requirements for the CQI and IRCA Certified Internal and Lead Auditor Courses.
Our Internal Auditor Courses qualify you to audit your own organisation’s compliance against a management standard (first party internal audits). So as an internal auditor you would be able to conduct audits on the processes within your organisation. These courses are 2 day with a mix of theory and practical workshop sessions having a total duration of 16 hours.
Our Lead Auditor Courses qualify you to plan, lead and report on first, second, and third-party audits. This means you could conduct internal audits on your organisation, plus supplier-chain audits, and external audits of independent companies. The qualification, combined with experience, enables you to audit on behalf of employers, or certification bodies, or work as an independent auditor or consultant. These courses are blended with 27 hours self-paced learning, combined with a 2 day practical workshop which involves running through all the stages of a mock audit against a fictitious company. The total duration is 40 hours.
CQI and IRCA Lead Auditor is the highest level for ISO auditing – ‘The Gold Standard for auditors’.
Auditor Conversion Courses are ideal for auditors already who have already passed a CQI and IRCA Certified Lead Auditor Course in one standard, and want to add an additional standard to their qualification in a shorter timeframe. The conversion courses have the same self-paced learning plus workshop blended format but are shorter in duration; 8 hours self-paced + 2 day workshop, a total of 24 hours.
